External Display

Hi,

I have two Canon 1100D's and use (Vivitar) wireless shutter release to capture photos on both cameras simultaneously using a single transmitter.
But the LCD is just too small for me, so I'm wondering if it would be possible to preview captured images live on some external display - a small 5-7" monitor. Can someone please help find one thats good and cheap (around $90-100)? I tried searching for 'live view monitors' and 'field monitors' etc but found nothing useful.

Or should I just get the HDML cables for both cameras and find a monitor that has two HDMI inputs -- would that work?

Also, do I need any cables to connect the monitor - maybe Canon VC-100 or HTC-100?

I'd really appreciate any help. Many thanks!
