Rob's DIY Book Scanner for NextFab

Built a scanner? Started to build a scanner? Record your progress here. Doesn't need to be a whole scanner - triggers and other parts are fine. Commercial scanners are fine too.

It's now on display at NextFab's embryonic second facility at 2025 Washington Ave, Philadelphia. It will represent the diybookscanner.org community at the Preview Party on Thursday April 19, 2012, and then it will be installed permanently at either NextFab 1 or NextFab 2 for anyone to scan books.
