direct download

Built a scanner? Started to build a scanner? Record your progress here. Doesn't need to be a whole scanner - triggers and other parts are fine. Commercial scanners are fine too.

Hi, Daniel,

I wonder if you could put the link to direct download your DIY bookscanner plan. Thank you in advance.

Hi Jota,

If you sign up for an account at Instructables you can download a PDF directly. I will also make one available here today.

It's about time to make a new manual, with all the community improvements and experience and without all the dumpster diving...

I'll have a whole separate manual on dumpster diving! I got so many requests for more diving info that it might as well be its own book. I'm really glad you enjoyed it, I tried pretty hard to make the whole thing funny.

The real plan is to get a wiki or CMS going where we can all make plans.

Also, Juan, I don't know what's happening with Instructables, but it lets me download the PDF no matter what. That's bullshit.
