Interesting. The fabric might be creating a static charge too, adding to the problem....requires some thought. A heavy book is less prone to behave like this, and I do remember my magazines and smaller paperbacks on the dual rigs did move a lot, and that was a hard base. A little suction is kind of nice, as it aids in page-turning, but your books are floating in the black abyss...
