Epson Scanner Technical Brief

Built a scanner? Started to build a scanner? Record your progress here. Doesn't need to be a whole scanner - triggers and other parts are fine. Commercial scanners are fine too.

Epson Scanner Technical Brief

Post by cday »

Checking for drivers on the Epson website, I have chanced on the attached guide giving potentially useful background information and tips for obtaining optimum results when scanning using Epson CCD-based flatbed scanners, which may possibly be of some general interest.

I was checking for drivers for my elderly Epson GT-15000 A3 scanner, which rather surprisingly is currently supported for Windows 10 and even for Windows 11, although I have been using it recently in Linux Mint where it works well using the Linux SANE interface.
