Linear motion idea:
If you take standard 1" extruded t -slot framing like 80/20 10 series and run a skate bearing in the slot, you get the bearing going in a few millimeters so the the chamfer of the bearing runs on the chamfer of the slot. Mount four skate bearing with the appropriate spacers and adjustment features and you have a linear motion carriage.

Thanks, Dan. Starting to like acrylic for making stuff. Quick swipe with the random orbital sander made the cloudy finish.

Instead of using a second servo like in the previous pics, this is a way to lift and drop the page lifter. I want the page lifter to stay out of the camera shot, then move 1" in until it is over the page corner, then drop, then extend 1 3/8" to push up the corner of the page, then lift so that the flipper can carry it over, then stay in the up position as it returns to the starting point. This mechanism will mount on the mini drawer glide. Not sure if 1/8" acrylic is the best material. I've busted a bunch of it. Anybody got ideas?

Some smart guy suggested polycarbonate and it works great.
