Adobe Lightroom - uses in bookscanning

Ignoring price, is there a benefit of Adobe Lightroom (v4 or v5) over ScanTailor?

I currently have dual Canon T3i DSLR - using the stock canon s/w to get a pic preview and release the shutter, and then post process in ScanTailor.
So ignoring price, is there any benefits of using Lightroom for book scanning?
