Hey all, Singularity&Co here, and glad to have found you because that means that we don't have to reinvent the wheel.
Singularity & Co. is a startup based in Brooklyn, NY (http://singularityand.co/thebigidea) the main purpose of which is to acquire and or clear the copyrights of out of print, otherwise inaccessible vintage sci-fi books and get them ebookified and online.
We're an effort that has evolved out of a media consulting and representation group and a serious love of scifi.
Book scanning is obviously a big part of our plan, and doing it in as non-destructive a way as possible is exceptionally important to us.
