Greetings! If you've ever seen my sig, you know that I'm working on a mechanical computer. My local makerspace in Philadelphia, NextFab Studio, is running a contest, and the most popular project will win $1000 credit at NextFab, which will go a long way towards helping to build the Logical Engine.
Please check it out, and vote.
Thanks!

I got on too late to vote for you, sorry, but I found myself intrigued. Mechanical computer? Steampunk-related? if you're still around, can you tell us a little more about that? Is it just a curiosity or is there any advantage to doing non-electronic computing? This is something I've never heard of before and it's fascinating, so again, if you're still here and have links or anything to this project I'd like to see it. Thanks.
