Site certificate / YouTube channel

Post by b0bcat »

Possibly an inane question but in the last week or two I've noticed my bookmarked url for DIY BookScanner
http://www.diybookscanner.org/forum/index.php
started throwing Firefox invalid site certificate errors* so I haven't visited in that time.
Deleting the preceding www. today takes me here without certificate error. Presumably the old name including www has simply been let to lapse and nothing sinister is indicated (bit late if there is as I've logged in to post this, meh)...

The other thing is, if I go to the YouTube channel in the page banner
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCn0gq8 ... g_8K1nfInQ
it takes me to "Vice Chief" which at first glance doesn't seem to have anything obvious to do with scanning. Searching at YouTube I found instead

https://www.youtube.com/user/FPCoA/videos
Daniel Reetz
- have I heard that name before somewhere ;) ? Anyway I assume that's currently the more relevant YT channel...(?)

Firefox detected an issue and did not continue to www.diybookscanner.org. The website is either misconfigured or your computer clock is set to the wrong time.

It’s likely the website’s certificate is expired, which prevents Firefox from connecting securely. If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details.

Hi. The website certificate did expire for a bit because I made a mistake. But it should be all fixed now.

Vice Chief is Daniel Reetz's YouTube channel where he has shop tips and such. They tend to be more generic shop related stuff than DIY book scanner stuff.

Sorry for the confusion.
